Course structure

8-week course following the standard MBSR curriculum (see What is MBSR) will be facilitated by Václav, online over Zoom.

The course comprises:

  • short and quite informal (video)call before the first session (10-15 minutes);

  • Tuesdays, January 14—March 4, 6:00pm-8:30pm CET (Central European Time): weekly 2½h group session;

  • Saturday February 23, 09:30am–4pm: “day of mindfulness”, dedicated to practice in silence.

Daily practice (30–45 minutes, ≈5×/week) is an indispensable part of the course; group sessions provide support for the practice. It might not be possible to practice every day, though realistic intention matters. You will use workbook/worksheets (sent by post or as PDF) and audio-guided exercises.

When you miss a session, you will receive a summary by e-mail, we can make a 1:1 call, and you continue the course normally. In order to receive certificate about completing the course (which might not be your objective at all), you may not miss more than 2 group sessions.
