Course structure

8-week course following the standard MBSR curriculum (see What is MBSR) will be facilitated by Václav, online over Zoom.

The course comprises:

  • short and quite informal (video)call before the first session (10-15 minutes);

  • Mondays, May 6—June 24, 6:30pm-9:00pm: weekly 2½h group session [sessions moved to start at 6:30 rather than 6:00 by popular demand];

  • Saturday June 15, 09:30am–4pm: “day of mindfulness”, dedicated to practice in silence.

Daily practice (30–45 minutes, ≈5×/week) is an indispensable part of the course; group sessions provide support for the practice. It might not be possible to practice every day, though realistic intention matters. You will use workbook/worksheets (sent by post or as PDF) and audio-guided exercises.

In order to receive certificate about completing the course, you may not miss more than 2 group sessions (day of mindfulness counts for 2 sessions). When you miss a session, you will receive a summary by e-mail, we can make a 1:1 call, and you continue the course normally.

Recommended price is 7.000 CZK (280€), though money should not be an obstacle for participation — we are always open to discuss this individually.

Meditators coming through can choose to participate on donation (dāna) basis.
