Content#
The workshop will be interactive (interspersed with short practices) and will cover, roughly, the following topics:
MBSR history
theoretical background (Buddhist, theravada)
order of introducing practices
session structure (architecture of a single session; sequence of sessions)
overview of practices (formal, informal, home): major (bodyscan, mindful movement, sitting meditation) and minor (raisin, walking, mountain, mettā, …)
inquiry & investigation (experience, reaction, patterns; Atkinson’s iceberg model of inquiry)
